Children's Choir
FOR AGES 6-12 YEARS OLD
CLASS DESCRIPTION
The CMP Children's Choir is a class designed to give children their first exposure to the choral world and promises a wholesome musical experience of singing, playing, and forging new friendships. This class advances young children with their continued music explorations, beyond early childhood classes. Your child will be exposed to the wonder of the choral world and learn how to use their voice in an environment that provides a sense of community and teamwork through practice. The Children Choir can act as a 'stepping stone' for private voice instruction and participation in other choir ensembles of the Morgantown area as the child grows older and becomes more advanced. Voice techniques will be taught according to age consideration and the repertoire chosen for the running term. No previous music experience is required. Our children's choir will schedule at least one performance per team to celebrate the growth of the young singers.
