Joshua Swiger

Joshua Swiger is a producer, engineer, performer, and music industry professional from Morgantown, WV. He holds a Bachelors degree in Computer Science and Masters degree in Music Industry, both from West Virginia University.
Joshua has been active in the national and regional music industry for 25+ years. His emphasis has been in record label management, recording engineering, and live event production and management.
Joshua has owned and operated Blues Alley Studios & Records since 1993. His studio work as an engineer and producer has allowed him to collaborate with The Walt Disney Company, The New Relics, The Argument, The Joseph Sisters, WVU, Huey Mac and other regional and national artists.
As a record label owner, Joshua has produced albums across multiple genres with an emphasis in country, rock and Americana. His work has landed artists on the Billboard and Music Row Charts (The New Relics, “Beautiful”, “Real Love” #54 Billboard Charts), (The Joseph Sisters “Crazy in Love” Top 100, Music Row Charts). Artists under his management have appeared on country music radio stations nationwide, including nationally syndicated Radio Disney Country, and in industry printed publications including Billboard Online and Music Row Magazine.
Joshua is very active in the regional music scene. As an Executive Producer with RMA Presents , he has produced shows for fair and festival events across WV, OH, PA, and VA with nationally and internationally touring artists including Dierks Bentley, Miranda Lambert, Charles Wesley Godwin, The Zach Brown Band, The Oak Ridge Boys, Los Lobos, Debbie Gibson, Smashmouth, Randy Houser, Chase Rice, Chris Janson, Kathy Mattea, Love and Theft, Marty Stuart, Sawyer Brown, Restless Heart, Blackberry Smoke, Ricky Skaggs, Walker Montgomery, Marcus King Band, Whiskey Myers, Tyler Farr, Lindsay Ell, Jason Crabb, Trace Adkins, Jason Michael Carrol, Bobby Nicholas, Joe Diffie, 1170 Band, The Gin Blossoms, Blessid Union of Souls and others. As a bassist, he has performed with regionally touring Americana band The New Relics since 2001.
He has helped produce summer concert series for the City of Morgantown, Fairmont County Commission, Garret County Fair and other.
Joshua is an active voting member of the Country Music Association (CMA).
