Summer Rhythm Camp
FOR BEGINNER MUSICIANS (6+ YO)
CLASS DESCRIPTION
Did you just recently start playing music and a musical instrument? If yes, then the Summer Rhythm Camp with Ms. Baker is the perfect place for you. Students will learn the fundamentals of rhythm, starting at the quarter notes, and through engaging activities and hands-on practice will develop an understanding of rhythm that will set them on the path to musical success.

REQUIREMENTS
- 1+ years experience playing any musical instrument
- Purchase the workbook: Basic Rhythmic Training by Robert Starer
LEARNING OUTCOMES
Students will be able to:
- speak rhythmic values up to sixteenth notes and triplets in both simple and compound meter
- play rhythms of varying complexities on their respective instruments
- demonstrate knowledge of rhythm and meter rules by composing their own rhythms
REMINDER
A class is usually cancelled when registration is less than five (5) participants. In case of cancellation of the class, all students already enrolled will be notified immediately. Submit your registration form as soon as possible to ensure your spot. We will reach out to you to process payment closer to the first day of the group class.
