Brass Band

FOR STUDENTS, YOUTH, ADULTS, AND SENIORS

The CMP Brass Band is designed as a performance outlet for intermediate and advanced musicians looking to perform brass-focused repertoire. Membership is open to everyone from youth to non-music and music major students, to adults and senior citizens throughout the greater-Morgantown community or other counties of the state. Repertoire will be drawn from stylistically diverse brass quintet literature and expanded to match the instrumentation of our ensemble. Rehearsals will include warm-up and skill-building practice that will improve your brass-playing in any style you choose to perform!

REQUIREMENTS

• Must play trumpet, horn, trombone, and tuba at an intermediate/advanced level

LEARNING OUTCOMES

• Refinement of fundamental brass playing skills
• Experience rehearsing and performing a variety of repertoire and style in a chamber ensemble setting

REMINDER

A class is usually cancelled when registration is less than five (5) participants. In case of cancellation of the class, all students already enrolled will be notified immediately. Submit your registration form as soon as possible to ensure your spot. We will reach out to you to process payment closer to the first day of the group class.
