Kimmy Lin

Kimmy Lin is an accomplished solo pianist, collaborator, and educator. She has taught at the college, high school, and elementary school levels, focusing on professional pianist training in Taiwan. She possesses experience in instructing non-major students to approach the piano as professional musicians in the United States. She obtained her master's degree in piano performance from Boston University and served as a teaching assistant there. 


She is in the third year of pursuing her doctoral degree at West Virginia University with a full scholarship and as a graduate assistant in coaching opera singers. Throughout this period, she was honored with the Valerie Canady Award and was also a winner of the WVU Young Artist Competition. 


Born in Taiwan, Kimmy Lin completed her undergraduate degree in piano performance at Soochow University. As an educator, she founded two private art schools in Taiwan, nurturing numerous young musicians and artists. She also organized numerous recitals and exhibitions to promote young artists. In her role as a solo pianist, she has organized numerous concerts, including solo recitals and ensemble performances. She has participated in various collaborative concerts at venues like Taichung National Theater and the National Taiwan Symphony Orchestra Music Hall.
